G20 finance ministers to meet on March 14 - Darling

LONDON (Reuters) - Group of 20 finance ministers will gather in Britain on March 14 for a meeting to lay the groundwork for a leaders' summit on April 2, Chancellor Alistair Darling said on Wednesday.

Britain has this year taken over the rotating presidency of the G20 group which includes rich nations like the United States and Japan as well as the newly-developing economies like India and China this year.

Credit headwind

News headlines speak of recovery, but financing is still a big problem in Germany. The dearth of credit to tide firms over is frustrating policymakers, who are blaming reluctant banks and there is little agreement on how best to increase lending flows.  Full Article
