LONDON (Reuters) - Britain will on Wednesday announce measures to try to boost lending to small and medium sized businesses, the business ministry said on Tuesday.

"We are working hard to launch the help first discussed in the pre-budget report (in November)," a spokesman for the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform said. "Discussions remain ongoing and final details are still to be confirmed."
