LONDON (Reuters) - Measures contained in the 2009/10 Budget, published on Wednesday, will add 0.25 percentage points to monthly consumer price inflation, the Office for National Statistics said on Friday.
It said rises in tobacco duty would add 0.03 percentage points and the rise in alcohol duty also 0.03 percentage points.
However, it noted the effects would take several months to feed through.
