First Irish case of H1N1 virus confirmed

DUBLIN (Reuters) - The chief medical officer on Saturday confirmed Ireland's first case of the H1N1 flu virus.

"Laboratory test results, previously recorded as probable influenza A (H1N1), have now been confirmed," Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan said.
