Margaret Thatcher goes home from hospital
LONDON (Reuters) - Former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was released from hospital on Monday, more than two weeks after she broke her arm in a fall at her home, her spokeswoman said.
The 83-year-old Conservative politician had been admitted to London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Gillian Benrose, from Thatcher's office, confirmed that the former prime minister had been discharged from hospital and was "very relieved to be home."
She added that the operation on Thatcher's arm had been "very successful."
