(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

GHAZNI - Between four and seven civilians were killed and two wounded when Taliban insurgents attacked a convoy of trucks belonging to a private company supplying foreign troops near Andar district in southeast Afghanistan's Ghazni province, a spokesmen for NATO and the Interior Ministry said. The NATO spokesman said the convoy was hit by an explosion.

HELMAND - Five British soldiers from the NATO-led force were killed by two bomb blasts near Sangin district in southern Helmand province on Friday, Britain's Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Darling to cut GDP forecast
