MAG consortium won't raise Gatwick bid
LONDON (Reuters) - A consortium led by Manchester Airport Group and Canada's Borealis has refused to raise its final bid of about 1.4 billion pounds for Gatwick Airport, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.
That, the newspaper said, would leave a gap of at least 100 million pounds to the price being sought by BAA, the airports group that is a subsidiary of Spain's Ferrovial (FER.MC).
