COLMAR, France (Reuters) - Spaniards Inigo Landaluze and Ricardo Serrano have been provisionally suspended by the International Cycling Union (UCI) after testing positive for the banned blood booster CERA, the UCI said Friday.

Landaluze tested positive during last month's Dauphine-Libere race in France and Serrano was caught during the Tour of Switzerland, also in June.

"The provisional suspension remains in force until a hearing panel convened by the Spanish federation determines whether they have committed an anti-doping rule violation," the UCI said in a statement.

"Both riders have the right to request and attend the analysis of their B samples."

Neither Landaluez, of the Euskaltel team, nor Fuji-Servetto's Serrano are riding the Tour de France.
