No doubting Thomas's class as Levet aces 15th

TURNBERRY, Scotland (Reuters) - Frenchman Thomas Levet registered a hole-in-one at the short 15th in the final round of the British Open on Sunday.
A five-iron from the former Ryder Cup player bounced short of the cup at the 206-yard hole before rolling in.
"It landed about two metres right of the pin about 20 yards short," Levet told reporters after scoring the seventh ace of his career.
"I could hear the crowd and I could see it getting closer and closer and I saw it disappear, nice memories."
Levet, who lost out in a four-way playoff for the 2002 British Open at Muirfield, also picked up a birdie at the par-four 16th before wrecking his push up the leaderboard by bogeying the last two holes for a 71 and 286, six over par.
In a mixed bag of a round, the 40-year-old earlier birdied the sixth and seventh but also dropped strokes at the fifth, eighth, 10th and 12th.
"I wasn't very fortunate, I didn't escape from trouble," said four-times European Tour winner Levet.
