Artic Monkeys top album charts with "Humbug"
LONDON (Reuters) - British indie band the Arctic Monkeys scored their third successive number one album on Sunday with their latest release "Humbug," the Official Charts Company said.
The album from the Sheffield quartet, who were the headline act at the Leeds and Reading rock festivals over the weekend, outsold the rest of the top five combined.
Also new at number two was "One Love" from French DJ David Guetta.
World War Two forces' sweetheart Vera Lynn entered the album chart at number 20 with a compilation "We'll Meet Again," becoming at 92 the oldest living artist to have achieved such a feat, her record label Decca said.
In the singles charts, British rapper Dizzee Rascal shot straight to the top spot with "Holiday," his third number one.
Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro were also new at number 10 with "That Golden Rule."
