NEW YORK (Reuters) - Andy Baddeley of Britain and American Shannon Rowbury won the men's and women's races in the Fifth Avenue Mile on Saturday.
Baddeley used a late kick to triumph in three minutes 51.8 seconds, 2/10ths of a second ahead of Kenyan Boaz Lalang in the road race along Central Park.
Rowbury edged out Briton Lisa Dobriskey, last year's winner, by 6/10ths of a second with a time of 4:23.30. American Sara Hall clocked the same time as Dobriskey, who was awarded second place after a photo finish.
