Volkswagen says SAfrica factory shut after strike
JOHANNESBURG, July 23 (Reuters) - Car maker Volkswagen (VOWG.DE) said on Wednesday its main South African factory was not operating after a strike by South Africa's COSATU labour federation.
"Yes we have been affected. We're not operating at all today," Volkswagen of South Africa spokesman Bill Stephens said.
Workers would not be paid for their absence at work on Wednesday, he added. (Reporting by Muchena Zigomo)
