Zuckerman drops out of BusinessWeek bid -source
NEW YORK, Oct 6 (Reuters) - New York Daily News owner Mort Zuckerman dropped out of the bidding for McGraw-Hill Companies Inc's (MHP.N) BusinessWeek magazine a "few days ago," a person familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.
Zuckerman, co-founder and chairman of real estate investment trust Boston Properties Inc, had put in a last-minute bid for the magazine last week.
But Bloomberg LP is emerging as the clear winner for the 80-year-old magazine, another source told Reuters earlier.
Private equity firm OpenGate Capital also has dropped out of the bidding, a third source told Reuters on Tuesday. (Reporting by Anupreeta Das; Editing by Carol Bishopric)
