Cephalon gets subpoena on Provigil settlement
NEW YORK, March 23 (Reuters) - Cephalon Inc. (CEPH.O) said on Friday it received a subpoena this week to provide U.S. antitrust regulators information regarding a settlement with generic drugmakers involving its Provigil sleep drug.
The company made the disclosure in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has been reviewing settlement agreements about Provigil made between Cephalon and several generic manufacturers in late 2005 and early 2006, Cephalon said.
