US Fed - loan demand fell, lending standards tight
WASHINGTON, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Demand fell for most types of U.S. bank loans in the three months into October while the percentage of banks tightening lending standards declined from peaks reached last year, the Federal Reserve said on Monday.
Demand was stronger for prime residential real estate loans, the Fed said in a quarterly survey of bank loan officers. (Reporting by Mark Felsenthal; Editing by Andrea Ricci)
