Top B&B investors approach Resolution

LONDON (Reuters) - Restructuring company Resolution said the investors in Bradford & Bingley BB.L who approached it to discuss a consolidation plan for UK banks included Standard Life and other top shareholders.

A spokesman for Resolution said other top investors to approach it included Legal & General, Prudential and Insight.

Earlier on Monday Resolution said investors in B&B were interested in Resolution leading a plan to consolidate British banks and lenders, which if suitable would be led and funded by investors in Bradford & Bingley.
