LONDON (Reuters) - Electrical goods retailer Kesa (KESA.L) said on Tuesday it had experienced a "clear slowdown" in sales growth following a stronger-than-expected end to its financial year.

"In the six weeks since the year end we are not at all in the trend (seen in the three months ended April 30)," Chief Executive Jean-Noel Labroue told reporters on a conference call.

He said like-for-like sales were still positive at its Darty stores in France, which saw a 5.6 percent increase in the three months to April 30.

But same-store sales were now down at Comet stores in Britain, following a 0.3 percent rise in the three months to April 30.
