BAE names Ian King as CEO

LONDON (Reuters) - BAE Systems (BAES.L), Europe's biggest military contractor, said on Friday Chief Operating Officer Ian King would become chief executive with effect from September 1.

King will succeed Mike Turner who announced in October last year that he would retire at the end of August.

Credit headwind

News headlines speak of recovery, but financing is still a big problem in Germany. The dearth of credit to tide firms over is frustrating policymakers, who are blaming reluctant banks and there is little agreement on how best to increase lending flows.  Full Article
