LONDON (Reuters) - Germany's GfK Holdings AG (GFKG.DE) said on Thursday it wished to clarify that there could be no certainty it would make an offer for market research group Taylor Nelson Sofres TNS.L.

On Wednesday it had emerged that GfK was working on a cash offer for TNS after Martin Sorrell's WPP Group (WPP.L) tried to muscle in on their original merger plan with a cash and shares bid.
