Rolls Royce says has new engine orders
LONDON (Reuters) - Engineer Rolls Royce Group (RR.L) said on Thursday it had received orders for new engines worth nearly $400 million (200 million pounds) from aircraft leasing companies AWAS and LCAL.
Rolls said the Trent engines would be used to power the Airbus A330 (EAD.PA) and Boeing 787 (BA.N) aircraft. Ireland's AWAS needs to power up to six A330s, while Dubai's LCAL has five Boeings.
