LONDON (Reuters) - Informa (INF.L) has no idea whether it will receive a firm offer from its consortium of private equity suitors, its chief executive, Peter Rigby, said on Monday.

Informa said on July 2 it was considering a 2.15 billion pound informal bid approach from Providence Equity LLP, The Carlyle Group and Hellman & Friedman, with the firms proposing an approach of 506 pence per share.

"You like me will have to wait and see," he told Reuters. "I have no idea. The ball's very much in their court."
