GKN pre-tax up and on track for year
LONDON (Reuters) - Engineer GKN (GKN.L) said first-half pre-tax profits increased by 5 percent on Tuesday and it anticipates progress for the year as a whole will be in line with expectations.
GKN, whose products range from auto drive shafts to aerospace structures, said pretax profit before exceptional items increased to 131 million pounds from 125 million.
