Iberdrola has not bid for British Energy

LONDON (Reuters) - Spanish utility Iberdrola (IBE.MC) has not made an offer for nuclear operator British Energy BGY.L by a deadline on Friday but has not ruled out a future offer, an industry source said.

"Iberdrola has not submitted an offer for British Energy, but no final decision has been taken," the source said, adding that the firm was still interested in taking part in the UK's future new nuclear build.
