ENRC 2007 pretax profit up 36 pct to $1.32 bln
LONDON, April 9 (Reuters) - Kazakh mining group Eurasian Natural Resources (ENRC.L) posted a 36 percent rise in annual pretax profit on Wednesday as commodity prices surged and said it expects a "strong year" in 2008.
The group, the world's largest producer of ferrochrome, said pretax profit in 2007 increased to $1.32 billion from $971 million in 2006.
The results are the first since the group listed on the London stock exchange in December.
