GE says Farnborough air show deals total $4 bln
NEW YORK (Reuters) - General Electric Co's (GE.N) aviation unit said on Wednesday it tallied about $4 billion (2 billion pounds) in deals at the Farnborough air show this week, including orders for GE products and services and GE's share of orders in its CFM International joint venture with Safran (SAF.PA).
The $4 billion in orders is based on list prices, GE said.
Among the biggest orders were a $700 million order for engines by China Southern Airlines (1055.HK) and a $500 million order by Arik Air, GE said.
