UniFirst gives FY08 profit view above analysts' estimates

July 2 (Reuters) - UniFirst Corp (UNF.N), a maker of uniform and protective clothing, forecast fiscal 2008 earnings above analysts' estimates.

UniFirst expects earnings of $3.15 to $3.20 a share, on revenue of $1.02 billion to $1.03 billion, for fiscal 2008, the Wilmington, Massachusetts-based company said in a conference call with analysts.

Five analysts on average were expecting earnings of $3.04 a share, before special items, while the average revenue view of two analysts was $1.02 billion, according to Reuters Estimates.
