Hilb Rogal & Hobbs to buy Bank of America's corp insurance unit

Sep 13 (Reuters) - Insurance brokerage Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co HRH.N said it agreed to buy Bank of America's (BAC.N) corporate insurance business to enhance its presence in north-eastern United States.

Terms of the deal, which excludes the consumer insurance business, were not disclosed.

The company said it expects to complete its acquisition of Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency LLC in the fourth quarter of 2007. (Reporting by Tenzin Pema in Bangalore)
