SiRF Technology to cut jobs by 7 pct, lowers Q1 revenue outlook
March 25 (Reuters) - SiRF Technology Holdings Inc (SIRF.O), which makes chipsets for global positioning systems, said it would cut its work force by about 7 percent by Sept. 30 and close two offices, citing continued economic uncertainties and expected weakness in consumer demand.
The company also said it stopped further mobile TV product developments and lowered its first-quarter revenue outlook. (Reporting by Purwa Naveen Raman in Bangalore; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
