BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Four American soldiers were killed in two separate attacks in and around the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Wednesday, the U.S. military said on Thursday.

The military said all four were killed by roadside bombs. The attacks follow a relatively quiet period in Baghdad, where U.S. and Iraqi forces have been deploying thousands more troops to enforce a new security crackdown.
