LONDON (Reuters) - Stock market volatility is putting many people off ploughing their individual savings account (ISA) allowance into equities.
Here are details of the best cash ISAs on the market:
* Top three cash ISAs for deposits:
Birmingham Midshires is paying 6.35 percent on deposits of 1,000 pounds;
Barclays Bank is paying 6.31 percent on deposits of one pound or more, although that rate includes an introductory bonus of 1 percent for 12 months;
Scarborough Building Society is paying 6.3 percent on sums of 1,000 pounds or more, although savers must give notice of 30 days to withdraw money.
* Top three cash ISAs for transfers:
Savers can transfer monies already invested into more competitive products -- although not all providers accept these.
