Soulja Boy retains lead on singles chart

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Teen rapper Soulja Boy's breakout single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" began a second week atop the U.S. pop singles chart Thursday, and the three subsequent tracks held their same positions from last week.
Kanye West's "Stronger" was No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" No. 3 (both for a second week), and Timbaland's "The Way I Are" featuring Keri Hilson No. 4 for a third.
R&B singer T-Pain's "Bartender" featuring Akon rose one to No. 5, while Canadian rock band Nickelback's "Rockstar" climbed two to a new peak with of No. 6. The former chart-topping hit "Hey There Delilah" from Los Angeles pop band Plain White T's held at No. 7, while another former No. 1 single, reggae singer Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," fell three to No. 8.
Rapper Plies' "Shawty" featuring T-Pain rebounded one to No. 9, and R&B singer Keyshia Cole scored her first top 10 single as a leading artist with "Let It Go," featuring Missy Elliott & Lil Kim, as the track moves up one to No. 10.
R&B singer Alicia Keys' "No One" was the top debut at No. 71, ahead of country star Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink" at No. 79, and Britney Spears' "Gimme More" at No. 85.
