Alicia Keys recruiting backup singer via MySpace

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Want to be a backup singer for Alicia Keys? The R&B star is inviting female singers who are aged 21 to 30 to "audition" via MySpace.

Hopefuls have until May 5 to submit a video, 30 seconds or longer, of themselves singing acapella to Keys' MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/aliciakeys); according to a release. Ideal candidates "must be physically fit and able to dance."

There's no word yet on what portion of the "No One" singer's tour the backup singer would take part in; however, current dates run now through June 18, with more on the way.
