- Ashlee Simpson, clad in an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier gown, married rock musician Pete Wentz in front of 150 guests at her parents' Encino, California, home. Simpson's father performed the nondenominational ceremony, while the couple's English bulldog served as ring bearer. Simpson's sister and fellow pop singer Jessica was maid of honor - PEOPLE

- Among the guests at the nuptials were television personality Nicole Richie, musician Joel Madden, actor Donald Faison, and members of the pop groups Panic at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes - US

- Simpson still hasn't admitted it but no one doubts that the pop singer is pregnant. "She didn't tell anybody at the wedding, but everyone in the room knew she was pregnant," says an insider - LIFE AND STYLE

- Christian music singer Steven Curtis Chapman's 5-year-old daughter was killed in an accident at his Nashville-area home. According to police reports, Chapman's daughter was struck in the driveway by an SUV driven by the singer's teen son, who apparently did not see the child. The injured child was rushed to nearby Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was later declared deceased. Maria Sue was the youngest of Chapman's six children. Like two of her other siblings, Maria had been adopted - OK!
