China shares end down 0.1 pct, gold miners drag

SHANGHAI, March 1 (Reuters) - China shares ended down 0.1 percent in see-saw trade on Thursday, dampened by weakness in gold miners after a slump in the global price of the precious metal.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,426.1 points, extending Wednesday's 1 percent fall.
