Seoul shares fall as Samsung Elec weighs after recent gains

SEOUL, March 7 (Reuters) - South Korean shares fell in early trading on Thursday on selling by local institutions, with market heavyweight Samsung Electronics slipping more than 1 percent after a run of recent gains.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was down 0.4 percent at 2,013.50 points at 0004 GMT.
