NEW YORK, Feb 12 (Reuters) - New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will announce on Wednesday the filing of an intent to sue a major, publicly traded health care company over deceptive practices, a person familiar with the situation said on Tuesday.

Cuomo's office declined to comment beyond an advisory announcing the news conference at noon (1700 GMT) on Wednesday. (Reporting by Joseph A. Giannone)
