Fannie, Freddie CEOs, OFHEO, plan news conference
NEW YORK, March 18 (Reuters) - The federal regulator of Fannie Mae (FNM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Freddie Mac (FRE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Tuesday said it would hold a news conference with chief executive officers of the largest providers of U.S. home funding on Wednesday.
The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight said Fannie Mae CEO Daniel Mudd and Freddie Mac CEO Richard Syron would participate at the conference expected to be held at 9 A.M. (1300 GMT). OFHEO announced the conference in an e-mailed statement to media.
