New Issue - Monumental Life unit sells $500 mln notes
April 18 (Reuters) - Monumental Global Funding III, a unit of Aegon NV's (AEGN.AS: Quote, Profile, Research) (AEG.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Monumental Life Insurance Company, on Friday sold $300 million of five-year senior notes in the 144a private placement market, market sources said.
The size of the deal was increased from the originally planned $300 million.
JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
