IFC says sells $1 bln in 5-yr bonds to strong demand
NEW YORK, April 21 (Reuters) - The International Finance Corp (IFC) said on Monday it sold $1 billion in five-year notes to strong demand, priced to yield 61 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries.
The issue was oversubscribed, with orders from almost 60 financial institutions, the IFC said. The IFC is the private-sector lending arm of the World Bank, which is rated triple-A by all three major ratings agencies.
JP Morgan and Nomura managed the sale.
