SEOUL, July 9 (Reuters) - An executive at South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd (034220.KS: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday the firm's margin on earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) could be "around 30 percent" in the third quarter.

The figure, given by Chief Financial Officer James Jeong on the sidelines of an investor meeting, would represent a sharp drop from the 38 percent posted in the second quarter and 39 percent for January-March.
