Arden says Cenkos talks ended; had other approaches

LONDON, May 16 (Reuters) - British stockbroker Arden Partners (ARDN.L: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it had ended talks with Cenkos Securities (CNKS.L: Quote, Profile, Research) about a possible takeover, but it had received approaches from other companies.

Arden said in a statement all discussions with the boutique advisery firm had ended, and it had received preliminary approaches from other parties "which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company".

Earlier this month, Arden confirmed press reports that it was considering a nil-premium approach from Cenkos.
