NEW DELHI, July 9 (Reuters) - A proposed Indian refinery to be built by Total TOTF.A, Mittal Investments and state-run Indian firms will have a capacity of 14 million tonnes a year (280,000 barrels per day), Total's senior vice president, Asia-Pacific, Thierry Pflimlin, said on Wednesday.

Total, Mittal Investments, Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), GAIL India Ltd (GAIL.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Oil India Ltd signed a pact last October to study the possibility of building a refinery at Vizag in southeastern India with a capacity of 15 million tonnes a year (300,000 bpd).
