HOUSTON, March 9 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp's (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) 260,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery in El Segundo, California, reported flaring on Saturday afternoon due to a compressor failure, according to a notice filed with state pollution regulators.
