US West Coast - ANS slides on dollar, downturn
HOUSTON, April 10 (Reuters) - Alaska North Slope crude ASW- fell 46 cents on Thursday as the dollar strengthened and worries about an economic downturn grew, traders said.
ANS finished in a bid-offer spread of $110.02/$110.12 per barrel.
California crude buyers cut prices 75 cents per barrel on Thursday.
ANS last sold Feb. 26 even with WTI in a deal for 300,000 barrels for May delivery.
Trade in ANS is limited as most producers either sell the oil under term contracts or take the crude into their own West Coast refining systems. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by David Gregorio)
