U.S. oil prices hits another new high above $115
LOS ANGELES, April 16 (Reuters) - U.S. crude oil futures hit a record high in late Wednesday trade at $115.21 a barrel.
The high eclipses the previous record price of $115.14 set just hours earlier. Wednesday was the second straight day of record oil prices. On Tuesday, crude price hit $114.08 a barrel.
Crude is now trading 80 percent higher than a year ago. (Reporting by Bernie Woodall)
