Alon Big Spring, Texas, sulfur unit restarts -state
HOUSTON, April 20 (Reuters) - Alon Energy USA Inc's (ALJ.N: Quote, Profile, Research) 67,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) refinery in Big Spring, Texas, shut and restarted Sulfur Recovery Unit No. 2 on Saturday, according to a notice filed with state pollution regulators.
The cause of the incident is under investigation, according to the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
Earlier this month, Alon partially restored production at the refinery following a mid-February fire. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Jan Paschal)
