Chevron reports flaring at El Segundo, CA. refinery

HOUSTON, April 27 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp's (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) 260,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery in El Segundo, California, reported flaring on Sunday, according to a notice filed with Los Angeles area air pollution regulators.

The flaring was not due to an equipment breakdown and lasted for 22 minutes, according to the notice filed with the South Coast Air Quality Management District. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, editing by Richard Chang)
