TOYAKO, Japan, July 9 (Reuters) - Leaders of the Group of Eight rich nations have agreed on the need to address global inflation, particularly elevated oil and food prices, Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda said on Wednesday. "Rises in oil and food prices add to inflationary pressures, and pose a serious challenge to stable growth," Fukuda, who chaired this year's G8 summit, said at the completion of the three-day summit in Hokkaido.
High food prices and climate change have been on the top of the agenda as G8 leaders and the heads of state of other invited countries gathered in Hokkaido, Japan, this week. (Reporting by Chisa Fujioka, writing by Lucy Hornby)
