Cameco profit more than doubles in first quarter

TORONTO, May 13 (Reuters) - Cameco Corp (CCO.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday its first-quarter profit more than doubled, helped by higher uranium deliveries.

The world's top uranium producer earned C$133 million ($132 million) or 37 Canadian cents a share, in the quarter ended March 31. That was up from C$59 million, or 16 Canadian cents a share, in the year-before quarter.
