TV personality Pat O'Brien checks into rehab again

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Television personality Pat O'Brien, a host on celebrity news program "The Insider," has checked into a rehab facility for undisclosed reasons, the TV show said in a statement on Friday.

"O'Brien and his doctors felt this is the best course for maintaining his sobriety," the statement said.

No further details were disclosed. O'Brien, a former sportscaster who became a celebrity news personality, also spent time in rehabilitation for alcohol abuse back in 2005.

"The Insider" host is among several celebrities who have entered rehab in recent days.

Late last week, actress Eva Mendes entered a facility only to check out this week, and on Thursday, actress Kirsten Dunst was widely reported to have checked into rehab.
